Spring 2015 Dissertation/Thesis Boot Camp

The Pioneer Center for Student Excellence, The Write Site, Graduate Student Council, Blagg-Huey Library, and the Graduate School are hosting another on-campus Dissertation/Thesis Boot Camp with a Dissertation/Thesis Boot Camp Virtual Room!
Dissertation/Thesis Boot Camp is structured writing time with a focus on productivity, and it is for graduate students working on a dissertation or thesis. The dates are Monday, May 11-Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 9 am – 5 pm. Students must be able to attend the entire camp (Monday-Thursday) and stay for the entire day (9 am – 5 pm). Participants must be in the active writing phase of a dissertation or thesis (including the proposal). The workshop will occur in the Pioneer Center for Student Excellence on the 2nd floor of the Blagg-Huey Library Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.
The Virtual Room is for graduate students who want to participate, but live outside of the Denton/Dallas/ Fort Worth area. Students must still be able attend the entire camp (Monday-Thursday, 9 am – 5 pm) online via Blackboard collaborate.
Students in both components will participate in group and individual sessions and have access to writing tutors and support persons.
